Canterbury Sofas - Lebus Upholstery

Most sofa ranges are sold on how deep and soft they are. The Lebus Canterbury Sofa Range goes the other way. Its continental design gives every piece a firmer foam seat, so you sit supported and upright rather than sinking in, which suits buyers who like a sofa that holds them properly for the evening news, a book or a full film. Firm sofas are a recognised category in their own right, and the Canterbury is built around it.

The look is lighter than the firm seat might suggest. High legs in Walnut or Oak lift each piece off the floor, and exposed timber legs are one of the sofa trends UK retailers are pointing to in 2026, because they make a sofa look lighter and a floor feel larger. The arm detail adds character to every piece, and the geometric scatter cushions give the whole range a tailored finish straight out of the box.

The range covers the sizes most living rooms need. The 2 seater is 172cm wide, the 3 seater 198cm and the 4 seater 228cm, which keeps all three on the compact side of UK sizing and makes them practical for medium sized rooms. A love chair at 114cm, an armchair at 91cm and a storage footstool at 84cm by 63cm complete the set. Every piece is 89cm deep and 96cm high, so the range mixes easily. Buy a 3 and 2 seater suite, or pair a sofa with a love chair or armchair.

Every piece is upholstered in the Alanah fabric collection, in Dove, Silver, Natural or Brown, each with an accent fabric. Every piece is made to order in the UK by Lebus Upholstery, who have been building sofas since 1840, and can be secured with a 25% deposit with the balance due before delivery. If you would rather sink into a softer seat, our Lebus Nova and Lebus Bromley ranges are the deeper, softer alternatives.
