Sherborne is a renowned and respected furniture company based in Bradford. Established in 1930, it is one of Britain's oldest upholstery manufacturers with 90 years of experience.

Reclining Action

The Keswick range is fitted with two super smooth Omega reclining actions, so both seats can recline independently to a seemingly infinite number of positions. 

The chair needs to be just 10cm (4”) from the wall, to fully recline.  With full chaise seating for added comfort - there's no gap between the chair and footrest when reclined.

The chair is available either as a manual or power recliner. The manual recliner comes with the choice of either a catch or handle.  The catch has a more sleek and seamless look whereas the handle makes it easier to operate, particularly for those who suffer from poor mobility in your hands. 

The power reclining option allows you to recline and sit up at the touch of a button. A two-button switch controls an electric motor, taking you up and down effortlessly.

Comfort Curve Cushion (Optional Extra)

The Comfort Curve Cushion is available to order in matching fabric or leather.  It can be moved and due to the design, you can use these cushions to support your knees, head, back or arms making it very versatile.

Head Cushion (Optional Extra)

The versatile Head Cushion is available to order in matching fabric or leather.  Due to the weighted design, you can easily adjust the position of the cushion to fully support your head.

Neck Pillow (Optional Extra)

The versatile Neck Pillow is available to order in matching fabric or leather.  Due to the weighted design, you can easily adjust the position of the cushion to fully support your neck.

Back Cushion (Optional Extra)

The Back Cushion is available to order in matching fabric or leather.  This cushion will give you added optional support.

Matching Arm Caps (Optional Extra)

Choose a matching pair of arm caps - NOT available on leather chairs.

Fabrics

Sherborne Upholstery is available in a huge choice of quality fabrics and leathers, carefully selected for their popular colours, attractive designs, and durability.

Look out for the range of Aquaclean fabrics, which have been treated with a revolutionary fabric protector that allows you to clean stains using water only. The special coating can resist stains and can even prevent pets’ claws from fraying fabrics. 

Foot Option

Sherborne Upholstery furniture is available with either castor or glide feet. Castors are designed for use on carpeted floors, to enable the furniture to be manoeuvred relatively easily, whereas Glides are designed for solid floors. Please note that the front set of feet lift away during operation to ensure the chair doesn't move accidently.

We will send your order using the fastest, safest and most reliable delivery method possible. We will select the appropriate delivery method and carrier when you order.

Our prices for delivery reflect the size of product, the value of your order and the level of service you require.

We want to offer our customers the best value for money prices that we possibly can and give you the choice of collection, delivery only, or delivery and assembly.

Where possible we use our own expert delivery team, however in some instances due to logistics we may employ the use of a 3^rd party courier service.

Collection

We will place your order with our trusted manufacturer/supplier partners and arrange for delivery to our store in Newark.

We will keep you informed every step of the way and contact you when the item arrives.

You simply collect from our premises and take your item(s) home yourselves.

This is a FREE service, and many of our customers choose to do this to take advantage of the low prices this allows us to offer you – many retailers simply add the price of delivery into their products, and you are paying for delivery whether you like it or not!

Assembly/Construction

Many items are delivered from suppliers semi constructed for ease of transportation purposes.  If you require an assembly service, just let us know.

Doorstep Delivery

Larger items will be delivered to your door by our own delivery service.

Some larger and heavier items will be delivered by our Two Person delivery team to the entrance door of your dwelling and delivered over the threshold into Your Home. This service is simply a drop off into Your Home, and you will be required to assemble your purchase and remove all packaging yourselves.

This service is offered FREE for all orders to the value of £1000 and above, anywhere within the UK mainland.

Orders up to £999 in value can be delivered at the discounted rate of £39 per delivery for local shop direct orders.  From £39 for online orders.

Room of Choice Delivery

Items will be delivered by specialist carriers to a room of choice in your home.  From £39 for local shop direct orders.  From £59 for online orders.

Room of Choice and Assembly Delivery

Items will be delivered by specialist carriers to a room of choice in your home.  All assembly will be carried out by our highly trained team who will remove all packaging for you and set up your purchases to your requirements.

Online orders

Please be aware that our internet service offers a door-to-door delivery or a room of choice delivery service only.  This enables our internet prices to remain competitive for you. 

If you are ordering your product online and require an assembly service, please call us prior to placing your order to discuss your requirements.

There will be an additional charge for this service dependent on your location, access and the product being ordered.

Non UK Delivery - Online Orders

There will generally be a surcharge  of £129.00 to deliver offshore. However, dependent on the item weight and cost this can vary.  Please contact us for further information.  In any case we will contact you when placing your order to ascertain that you still wish to go ahead.

IMPORTANT - To guarantee a smooth delivery:

Please ensure that your home is prepared and accessible.

Please remove potential obstacles and any fragile or valuable objects from the delivery path.

Please ensure that when placing your order, you have made us aware of any access issues such as narrow entrance, above ground floor entrance, lifts, or stair access.

Please ensure that you measured the space intended for the product.  There will be a further charge for redelivery of items refused/not delivered due to access/size issues.

Direct Shipping

Some items are suitable for direct shipping to you and will be delivered to you by the manufacturer /supplier.

You will be notified during the order process if this is the case.

Returns and Cancellations

We want you to be delighted with your product and will work with you to arrange a suitable replacement, carry out a fully guaranteed repair, or cancellation of your order.
